Terms and Conditions

By purchasing the WonderHouse Artspace products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.  

 

  1. The Syllabus (for Term Class) and the Activity of the Day (for Holiday Programme) could be subject to change.

  2. Term Class:

    1. Missed lesson policy:

We understand that life can be unpredictable and there may be times when your child is unable to attend our art classes. We take pride in providing a flexible and accommodating experience for our students and their families. To better serve your needs, we  offer two options for missed lessons:

  • Option A: Material kit with instructions

If your child misses a class, we can provide them with a material kit and instructions to create the artwork at home. This option is a great way for your child to stay on track with the lessons and continue their artistic development.

  • Option B: Attend another class in the same week, different location or time

If your child misses a class, they may attend another class in the same week at a different location or time. This option allows your child to catch up on the missed lesson and stay engaged with the program.

We hope that these options will provide more flexibility for our students and their families.​

           2. Refund Policy:

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with our art classes, please let us know so we can work to resolve the issue. If you decide to withdraw your child from our program, we offer a refund policy as follows:

  • If you withdraw your child at least two weeks prior to the start date of the class, you will receive a full refund minus a $10 administrative fee.

  •  If you withdraw your child after the first class, but before the second class, you will receive a 80% refund of the term fee.

  • If you withdraw your child after the second class, we are unable to provide a refund.

We want to ensure that your child has a positive and enriching experience in our art classes, and we are committed to working with you to resolve any issues that may arise.

   

    3. Holiday Programme:

  1. Each session lasts for 6 hours,and has different themes each day. You can choose any day(s) as the theme you like. 

  2. Unless specified, the programme would be held at Korokoro Playcentre, Lower Hutt.

  3. Please bring your own lunch box (peanut free) and drink bottle.

  4. A minimum number of students is required for each session.

  5. The programme runs from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Pick-up after 3:15 pm incurs a charge of $15 per 15 minutes or part thereof. 

  6. Refund policy:

We understand that plans can change, so we have a fair refund policy in place. If you need to cancel your child's enrollment in our holiday programme, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • If you cancel with 2 weeks' notice or more, you will receive a full refund less a $5 administration fee.

  • If you cancel with more than 2 days' notice but less than 2 weeks' notice, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • If you cancel with less than 48 working hours' notice, unfortunately, we cannot provide a refund.

  • Any refunds due will be issued after the holiday programme.

Please note that if a session was canceled by us due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund.

     4. Annual Pass:

  1. The pass expires after ONE calendar year after the purchase date or the date when your child attends his/her first class, whichever is later. 

  2. With the purchase of an Annual Pass, you are rewarded by 40 WonderHours. You can spend these WonderHours on any Term Class  and/or Holiday Programme.

  3. Unless specified, the Term Class is generally 1 hour long and the Holiday programme is 6 hours. The number of hours of the relevant event will be deducted from the annual pass account. 

  4. You can check your WonderHour balance by contacting the WonderHouse team. 

  5. The Annual Pass can be shared with siblings from the same family of the holder.

  6. Friends can be invited to the class using holder’s WonderHour credit. You may invite as many friends as you wish but one guest can’t be invited multiple times.

  7. As this is a prepaid product with a very discounted price, we do not offer refunds for the Annual Pass.

  8. The Annual Pass is non-transferable.

       5. Any unwell child will not be accepted on the class/programme and to help prevent other children getting ill, please allow at least 48 hours after any symptoms of a contagious illness.

      6. Photography and Image Use Policy:

By participating in our event, you acknowledge that photos may be taken throughout the day, and some may be used on our website, social media, or newsletter. If you do not wish to have your picture made public, please let us know during the event. By attending the event, you grant Wonderhouse permission to use your likeness in any photograph, without payment or consideration made to you, in any and all publications and materials for marketing and promotional purposes.
